Holy Cross Primary School Celebrates Valentine's Day - 2010
On Friday 12th February Holy Cross Primary School celebrated Valentine's Day. We started our day with a very meaningful Assembly, outlining the life of Saint Valentine and explaining that it is not just about giving cards and gifts; but there is a greater message: God loves each of us.
The Learners were dressed in red and white and each Grade paraded onto the stage. The best-dressed boy and girl were chosen by our adjudicators: Sr Theresia, Lucia Alberts & Sr Catherine. It was very difficult to choose; but our adjudicators did a fine job.
The Winners will be treated to a milk shake during the week.
Each Learner received a packet of chips thanks to Metro Fruit and Veg. Many thanks for your generous donation!
The day was enjoyed by us all. Many thanks to our parents for sending their children so nicely dressed and to all our Educators who did a great job.
